Green Hat Summer Cup is inspired by the English tradition of "cups," which combine gin with various botanicals, herbs, spices, fruits, and sweeteners. While Pimm's is the dominant market leader, the growth of craft gin has introduced new competitors, including Green Hat gin from Washington D.C. Their Summer Cup utilizes the distillery's navy-strength gin, blended with Capitoline White Vermouth from D.C. and numerous other flavorful ingredients. It is traditionally enjoyed with lemon-lime soda or ginger ale.
