By itself, this is simply overpowering cherry cola. It has a nice body. It's better mixed with soda.

About this bottle
Based in Brooklyn, St. Agrestis produces aperitivo and digestivo spirits. Their Amaro is made by individually macerating 20 different ingredients—herbs, spices, flowers, roots, seeds, and citrus—in a cane distillate. These macerations are then combined and aged for 16 weeks in ex-bourbon barrels to meld the flavors. The resulting bitter liqueur is bottled at 30% ABV.

An initial bitterness with a touch of pine, followed by a syrupy floral finish.
Smooth. Mildly bitter. Wintergreen. Crisp.
