I detect fruity apple notes, mild berries, light caramel, and creamy notes, finishing with cereal and light baking spice. The finish is a bit short but very smooth. For a 20-year scotch, it's somewhat underwhelming, but I can't really complain given the price point in the seventies. It would be a nice bottle for newcomers.
