Southern Star White Whiskey is an unaged whiskey produced by Southern Distilling Company in Statesville, NC. It is made using a wheated bourbon mashbill but is not aged. The product is bottled at 50% ABV.

Smells light, with an aroma reminiscent of tequila. Initially smooth on the tongue until the second sip, which caused a slight pucker. It's quite warming as it goes down. I typically drink everything neat, but I'll try mixing this one.
