This is my go-to rye. It begins neutrally sweet, develops a rich vanilla core, and concludes with a lengthy, tannic finish. It's quite alcoholic and warming, but this complements the sweet vanilla notes well. The rough edge might deter some, yet the underlying flavors surpass many other whiskeys I've sampled.

A sharp start, with some menthol upfront that shifts to cinnamon, oak, prune, and herbal notes, leading to a long spicy finish. Nothing to particularly praise.
Awful. Burns from beginning to end and tastes like chemicals.
Slightly oaky with hints of peach and a significant caramel aftertaste. Quite pleasant.
Smoky honey flavors. I'm not a fan.
A rye with fruity and floral characteristics.
