Immediately, there's a kick of spice, menthol, licorice, and a sweet maple/cherry taste. The cherrywood smoke is noticeable, but not as strong as in most smoky Scotches. The finish is fiery, with cinnamon spice and it goes on for a while. Adding a tiny ice cube brings out the sweetness, but also makes the smoke more prominent. The smoke itself resembles cherrywood but has a burnt quality and a slight bitterness. I'm a big fan of anything smoky, so when I saw this bottle, I had to check it out. It's not revolutionary, but it's a fun addition to my collection.

This is my first time using the word 'funky' in tasting notes! Haha. I can't quite describe the flavors I'm experiencing, except to say it's a bit woody, a bit dry, but has a really pleasant, yet unidentifiable taste on the finish. I might need to get another bottle to figure it out.
From the 2023 Flaviar Advent Calendar, day 12. The aroma is of honey and medicinal notes with a touch of wheat. The taste includes grain, wood, and herbal notes, with honey and a delayed spiciness. The finish is very subtle and smooth, with a faint spicy note, but not much else stands out.
Clear golden body with faint legs. Aroma of spicy, earthy rye and fruit. Flavor of spicy rye pepper, cherry, earth, and wood. Medium-light body with moderate warmth. 7/3/7/3/13 3.3
Aroma: cherry, wheat, brine. Flavor: cherry, herbal, tea, a touch of orange zest. Aftertaste: herbal, slightly bitter.
Sweet and spiced, this drink is warming and woody, leaving a tingling sensation on my tongue.
