Smokeye Hill Barrel Proof Blended Rye Whiskey

NEAT SMELL - Dried stone fruit, dark brown sugar, honey, and caramel. TASkTE - The texture is buttery, though it lacks the thickness of the barrel proof bourbon. Still, the flavor is rich and powerful. Plenty of brown sugar, vanilla, and caramel with a touch of mint weaving through. FINISH - Unfortunately, it's brief. Gladly, the unpleasant note from the bourbon on the finish isn't present. WORTH BUYING? - Yes. BUY AGAIN? - Definitely. I actually prefer this to the barrel proof bourbon.
