A preliminary sweetness with sherry dominance is followed by peat smoke and salty sea notes. These later flavors temper the brighter elements. It is smooth, approachable, and distinctive, standing out on the Scotch landscape with a pleasant lift. This makes me contemplate adding a touch of salt water to my next sherry serving. An enjoyable and effective trial.
