About this bottle
The Smögen Whisky Company in southwest Sweden introduced its inaugural single malt with this release. It was produced using Scottish barley with a peat level of 45ppm. Distilled in late 2010, it was matured in a mix of new French oak and ex-Bordeaux wine casks, also crafted from French oak. Bottled in late 2013, the standard alcohol by volume was 63.7% (with an exception for Norway at 58% ABV).
