Distilled in Sweden, this dram was made with Optic barley peated to 45 ppm and aged for 3 years in a single bourbon barrel. So, that's the official information. In terms of taste, it's a very interesting dram. You really get a distinct malted barley flavor that differs from the usual dram. You also get a lovely sweetness from the barrel that blends beautifully with the peat. All of this came through even at the 60+% ABV, though I did add a bit of water to try and reduce the heat. It also has a bit of a kerosene-like flavor profile, which I'm not sure is solely due to the spirit itself, but it is a bit unusual. Personally, I don't know if I'd drink a whole bottle, but I enjoyed it for its distinctiveness.
