A price of $9 or less for a Heaven Hill bottling is excellent, but the flavor profile is indecisive. Next time, avoid chilling it, even with a couple of ice cubes as you did. The taste fluctuates between Irish, Scotch, and Bourbon characteristics.

About this bottle
Green Bar's Slow Hand Six Woods whiskey is derived from a mash bill consisting entirely of malted barley, which is both fermented and distilled. While it does not carry an age statement, its maturation method is distinct. The whiskey rests in large French oak vats (1,000 and 2,000 gallons) containing staves from hickory, mulberry, red oak, hard maple, and grape woods. These woods are toasted in-house, contributing to the influence of six different wood types in total.

There's nothing excessive in this whiskey, except for sweetness at times. Everything else is just pure smoothness; this is a fantastic everyday single malt whiskey.
American California whiskey from a private collection. It tastes like the feeling of constructing a dwelling with your bare hands.
On the palate, it's much more akin to brandy or cognac, not whisky. It truly amazes me. 🤯
The most easy-drinking, spicy, and full-bodied whiskey I've sampled.
Pleasant, robust flavors; I'm glad I discovered this during my travels.
