Alright, this isn't the 3-year batch 6, but it is the 4-year Batch 13. I didn't see an entry for it, so I'm using this one, assuming it's similar? I'd heard a lot about the Oldfangled Knotter from this producer but couldn't find it. Then I spotted this one and decided to see if it was any good. The nose presents fresh banana, mild oak, plum, red apple, and a hint of rye. The palate is sweet with rye and vanilla. Not much else is present. The finish leaves a subtle tingle on the tongue, but the flavors fade quite rapidly. I'd describe it as medium length, but lacking in flavor. Overall, it's acceptable. The nose offers much more than the palate. It's easy to consume, but you won't discover anything particularly noteworthy while drinking it.
