Skyy Vodka presents scents of wheat bread and warm spices. It begins sweet with baking spices on the palate. The ending brings gentle vanilla and a sweet, spicy ginger. Because it is too sweet, Skyy Vodka is not advised neat or in cocktails.
This is a clear improvement over the prior formulation. It made a fantastic vodka tonic. It remains quite neutral overall, but with less oiliness and ethanol bite. It's much more pleasant to drink neat. The flavors of pepper and lemon peel are very subtle.
A decent, affordably priced vodka for regular consumption. It's relatively clean, with some minerality towards the end. The taste is reminiscent of the previous formulation. I like it mixed with lemon-lime soda.
Agreed on a neutral palate, lemon on the nose. Plain in a deliberate manner.
