Russian Standard Platinum

Smoother than the original Russian Standard, the Platinum variant offers a more subdued flavor. Much of the taste is clean, sweet alcohol with a touch of cool minerality and a bitter wheat aftertaste. When consumed cold, it presents a slightly grassy profile with notes of sweet cream and more wheaty minerals. It's quite good, but the original earns more credit for its distinct character. This one likely serves as a more neutral mixer.

I'm not an expert, but I'd still purchase this vodka even if the price were doubled. It's exceptionally smooth, and if you're an occasional drinker who struggles with harsh spirits, I strongly recommend it. It's as smooth as sake with significantly less alcohol.

While it's not my personal top choice for vodka, it ranks very high. Considering its fantastic quality relative to the price, this is the best value vodka available.

A subtle alcohol scent, nearly odorless nose, a smooth, sweet watery body from Russian wheat, very mild burn, and a superbly smooth sweet finish. Tasted cold in a tumbler shot.

A decent, straightforward vodka that doesn't break the bank. The flavor could be improved, but it won't leave you with a headache like absolut or smirnoff.

Very good vodka for the cost. It has almost no bite and a nice earthy flavor.
