Barrett Andrew 4.3

While not inexpensive, very few vodkas on the market match the smoothness of Stoli Elit. A couple might come close, but out of the approximately 20 I've tried, this is the smoothest, without being bland. The nose, though faint, does exhibit pepper, baking spice, and lemongrass. The palate is rather oily, with subtle grain and citrus notes. The finish is exceptionally smooth, with absolutely no burn and a touch of sweetness to conclude. At present, this is my highest-rated vodka. It is pricey, so is the significant price increase over Absolut Elyx (likely my second favorite) justified? Perhaps not, but if you wish to impress your guests and demonstrate the potential of a sipping vodka, this is the bottle to acquire.

Remarkable! This vodka earns four stars for actually having a pleasant taste. Unconventional, I know. It possesses the typical medicinal aroma and aftertaste, but the mid-palate offers a subtle mineral quality, indicative of a superior copper pot still. There's a fleeting sense of something pure, vibrant, and harmonious before it reverts to the unadorned, sterile, characterless realm of vodka. Achieving this is truly rare. I will enthusiastically endorse this vodka for its accomplishment of the seemingly impossible. Making Vodka Great Again. MVGA. Difficult to utter, but it signifies a significant achievement.

To me, this is the pinnacle of Vodkas. If not for the $60 price, here in Ontario, this would be the only vodka I would purchase. Occasionally, it goes on sale for $50 and I'll treat myself and buy a bottle. I consume my vodka on the rocks with a few olives or a twist of lemon. When drinking Stoli Elit, you know you are drinking the best. I prefer wheat vodkas and this is the finest example I am aware of.

Leta Crum 4.3

A neutral vodka aroma, with minor grainy hints, a smooth, clean, crisp body with traces of citrus, lemon-lime, refreshing, a delicate silky mouthfeel, slightly viscous, with a smooth, clean, lightly citrusy, and crisp finish. Tasted chilled in a sampling tulip.

Stolichnaya Elit vodka presents classic scents of wheat, musk, and baking spices. The initial taste is smooth, followed by a palate of toffee and vanilla, concluding with baking spices. It is overpriced for its quality and not as good as Stolichnaya Vodka.

INCREDIBLY SMOOTH! Served chilled, this vodka takes on an incredible ice water taste that goes down like a 32-degree bottle of Fiji with a tiny bite at the finish.
