About this bottle
SG Shochu, a brand from the SG Group founded by Shingo Gokan, has launched in the US following its debut in Japan in 2020 and China in 2021. This Imo (sweet potato) shochu is one of three expressions, each developed with a distinct distillery in Kyushu, Japan. Sweet potatoes for this bottling were sourced locally and distilled at Satsuma Shuzo Co. Japanese shochu regulations permit only water to be added post-distillation, ensuring no sugar, coloring, or artificial flavors are included. The suggested retail price is $75.
