Seven Seals Amarone Wood Finish

Wonderful whiskey. Made using the Stockhausen rapid aging method, involving splitting the barrel and adding chips to the distillate. In this case, ex-Amorone raisin wine barrels were used. Aroma of vanilla, cherries in chocolate, nuts, salted caramel, pear, spices, coffee. Very tasty whiskey, like a croissant with salted caramel.

A great balance of sweet and spicy notes, it's well-rounded, truly excellent!
