Seven Seals Port Wood

I spent a considerable amount of time appreciating the sweet fruitcake aromas before even tasting it. This spirit is sweet throughout, with an almost syrupy texture but a smooth feel. There's a gentle warmth on the finish, making me imagine enjoying it in a mountain chalet during winter instead of a schnapps!

Nose: Fruity, almost tropical, light, with notes of peach and vanilla. Palate: Lively, peaty, with toffee, dryness, and vanilla. Finish: Extended, persistent, with a warming sensation.

Light, thin body with a strong taste of wood and caramel.
