Nose: Earthy peat, dried fruit, raisins, chocolate, coffee, disinfectant, sherry, and BBQ smoke. Palate: Dried fruit, nutty, BBQ smoke, cardamom, dry wood shavings, spices, with hints of salt/brine. Finish: Medium length. Chilli, white pepper, BBQ smoke, leather, sweet sherry, peat, and a lot of dried fruit (raisins and dates). This bears some resemblance to Laphroaig PX (though the cask strength makes for a much more potent drink. Sweet, chocolate raisins, BBQ, leather - all the Islay characteristics you'd anticipate in a peaty/sherried dram, but amplified by the cask strength. Rich and very enjoyable. I'd suggest one, perhaps two, is sufficient for me, but it's damn good!

Incredible. The name accurately describes the experience. A fantastic dram.
Quite potent, with prominent vanilla and butter notes.
