The aroma is gentle peat, very smooth, with notes of caramel, sweet apple juice, green banana, and damp leaves in the fall. The taste is immediate and strong; it's briny and quite salty, with a youthful burn. The peat is actually quite pleasant, though I didn't anticipate its intensity. It's definitely on the heavier side for PPM. I just tried a Bunnahabhain Toitach A Dha right before this, and they are remarkably similar – in both scent and flavor. Perhaps it's the same one.

To begin... A certain organization's representative is fantastic! They deserve all the backing they can receive. I'm happy to support them with the best thing in the world... Now, for the tasting: nose: smoke and rubber Body: cherry and pepper, followed by strong medicinal notes, fading into gingerbread and licorice Finish: long and warm, still smoky, naturally Could this be Laphroaig? Regardless, purchase it and support the sea conservation group.

Smell: Faint citrus and smoke Taste: Citrus fruit, a little spice that quickly softens, and moderate smoke Finish: Smoke persists and turns bitter at the conclusion. Overall, it begins with promise but falters at the finish.
