The aroma is subtle with a trace of chocolate. The taste is very smooth, featuring dark chocolate and some rich brown sugar, though not as intensely sweet as Willett rye when compared. The finish has chocolate and a hint of oaky tannins.

It smells great, but the taste is just okay. It's likely aged too long for a rye; this is my second Sazerac, and I haven't enjoyed either.
Minimal heat, very pleasant warmth. It smells like a grandfather's living room, in the best possible way. Amazing.
