The aroma is more reserved, but as soon as you start drinking, you get caught up in the incredible flavors. It has a smooth, natural sweetness on the palate, with a pure quality. At the same time, it delivers the expected spice of a rye. It achieves all this while masking the high alcohol content with its smoothness. This rye comes from the original Old Crow distillery. Among ryes, this is definitely one of the best I've had.

Remarkably drinkable for a high-proof rye. Deep flavors of caramel and cinnamon with hints of vanilla and raisin. Melting ice softens the spice somewhat. I truly enjoy this rye.
Quite potent upon the first taste. An excellent sipping rye. It becomes more mellow with the addition of water or melting ice. Composed of 95% Rye. Peppery, but with more subtle undertones of caramel and vanilla.
Glenns Creek is so overlooked. Everything I've tried from them has been outstanding. I wish it were more accessible!
Sweet banana notes.
