Nose: Notes of caramel, vanilla, orange marmalade, spices, candied ginger, and toasted oak are present. Palate: Flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, caramel, candied ginger, oak, vanilla, cocoa powder, and a touch of mint. A delightful spicy rye with a touch of sweetness!
Not to my liking. When making Manhattans with wild turkey 101, I found it to be much better.
Pleasantly surprising; very easy to drink. It resembles a smooth bourbon.
