Ron Viejo De Caldas 15 Year Gran Reserve Especial Rum

I had high hopes for this 15-year-old Colombian rum, but unfortunately, I was distinctly underwhelmed. It's merely adequate. It lacks refinement and complexity. It tastes like brown sugar that has gone stale.

Silky with vanilla notes and a buttery mouthfeel. It's warm but not so strong as to overpower the flavors.
