A sophisticated, blended spirit, combining 50% Ron Colón Salvadoreño Rum (a six-year-old Spanish style rum, unaged Jamaican pot-distilled, and a three-year-old Jamaican pot-distilled rum) with a four-year-old American straight rye whiskey, made from 100% rye and aged in #4 char casks, bottled at 50% ABV. It presents an aromatic start with grain, cane, tropical fruits, wood, flowers, herbs, and spices; a rich, complex middle adds buttery toffee, mint, marmalade, banana, grilled pineapple, caramel, maple, and orange blossoms, concluding in a balanced, medium-length finish with a touch of oak, orange zest, anise, pepper, and rye spice.
