A blend of Calvados aged over 18 years. Apple and spices are wonderfully harmonized on the nose. The mouthfeel and palate are vibrant with fruit, spice, and some gingerbread. While most Calvados, Cognac, and Armagnac spend most of their time in used casks to prevent strong wood tannins and influence, this still imparts some oaky spice notes, though minimal. This demonstrates the aging potential, and why older Calvados rivals Cognac!! My rating was 92.
