About this bottle

Rhine Hall produces fresh fruit eau-de-vie at its facility in Chicago, Illinois. Their apple brandy is made using whole apples sourced from southwest Michigan, requiring approximately 25 pounds of apples for each 750ml bottle. The apple varietals include Jonagold, McIntosh, Gala, Cortland, and others. The brandy is aged for nine to fourteen months in a blend of toasted and charred American oak barrels.

Very good. The essence of the apple comes through, but the oak provides good balance, preventing the fruity sweetness from becoming overwhelming.
