Renegade Rum, a terroir-focused project from Grenada, produces rum by harvesting, milling, and distilling fresh sugarcane from individual farms, field by field. Pre-Cask: Cuvée Aura is a blend of unaged rums originating from single farms, utilizing pot and column distillation methods with the lacalome red cane variety. In line with all brand bottlings, this rum contains no added coloring or sugar and is not chill-filtered, bottled at 46% ABV. This is one of four flagship rums launching in the US in December 2023, with an SRP of $49.99.

Intense sugarcane funk on the nose, with a fresh, vibrant, and mouthwatering aroma. The palate is slightly sweet, subtle, and semi-dry. A light peppery heat is present, but it leans heavily towards cane juice in character. Very approachable, with a fairly short finish, making it an ideal rum for mixing in tropical cocktails.
