Renegade Rum Distillery, located in Grenada, focuses on the island's microclimates and sugarcane varieties. This rum utilizes the Yellow Lady variety grown in the Upper La Calome terroir area on Nursery Farm. Fresh sugarcane juice was distilled using a pot still, and the resulting rum was bottled immediately without aging, chill-filtration, coloring, or added sugar. It has been available in the US since August 2022 with a suggested retail price of $65.

A light and soft sugarcane aroma. On the palate, it also has a lighter feel. Less delicate and less aggressive than the Lower Crater Lake South expression, Nursery has a warmer, sunnier, and friendlier disposition. This is also slightly sweeter, with notes of marshmallow, milk bread, and confectioner’s sugar. This is an excellent rum for a Daiquiri or a Mojito, but also a relaxed sipper on its own.
