The aroma is indeed like a light whiskey, with a noticeable grain note and some maltiness. I actually prefer the palate over the nose; that corn whiskey sweetness really shines through. However, what detracts from it is a very drying sensation and a spirit that drinks hotter than its 86 proof. It's not bad for an occasional drink, but it's not one I'll frequently choose because the finish provides significant harshness without much of the desired warming sensation. It simply tastes very young, but considering I purchased it quite cheaply, I can't complain too much.

Redneck Riviera Granny Rich Reserve. A blend of 95% American Light Whisky aged 3 years and 5% American malt Whisky aged 4 years. Bottled in Oregon at 43% abv. The aroma has notes of vanilla, sweetness, and minor oak. The taste features minor oak, light spice, vanilla, and light to moderate sweetness, but the flavor isn't bold. It's very smooth and a decent, if not solid, blend, but highly overpriced at BEVMO for $39.99 plus tax for a 750 ml bottle. Grade: C+
Similar to the standard Redneck Riviera, featuring musty corn and ethanol, but with added vanilla and some baking spices. The palate is creamy and slightly spicy, with notes of sweet corn and vanilla. The finish is medium in length and warming, with a interplay of sweetness and spice.
This is by far the best whiskey I've ever had from a plastic bottle. It's sweet, caramel-flavored, and smooth. Not overly complicated, making it very drinkable, even straight.
Tasting this again. Strong caramel notes with mild oak influence. Avoid drinking this chilled.
This is a powerful bomb of vanilla, toffee, and caramel. Minimal burn as well.
