Aroma: Rye spice, cinnamon, molasses, vanilla, and oak. Palate: More rye spice followed by rum flavors of spice, cinnamon, molasses, and brown sugar. Finish: Molasses sweetness with a little ethanol.
Smells bright and a bit like citrus, with pleasant coconut and warmth on the palate. A strong honey presence lingers at the end. While not as dense and rich as the Angels Envy cask finished, it might become more appealing with time.
Light copper color. Smells sweet with notes of raisin, oak, and alcohol. Tastes woody and slightly sweet. A hint of heat in the finish.
Oily texture. Smooth on the tongue until the finish arrives!
