This is quite enjoyable. It's an MGP rye, exhibiting that sweet candy profile typical of MGP ryes. This particular one offers a lot of anise and jellybeans.

The nose has a purple, floral perfume. The palate has caramel, spice, black pepper, and pine. Wow! Tannins and old leather are present.

Spicy green apple and coffee. Made with 95% rye and 5% barley malt. It's a good one at 58.1% ABV.
