The nose is sweet and malty, with warm pot still spices. The palate is sweet, malty, and quite fruity, with a hint of spice. It is remarkably smooth for its 114 proof. Overall, it's delicious and I strongly endorse it.
Smells like sour Sweet Tarts and black raspberry jam. Light and sweet, you wouldn't guess it's cask strength until you swallow. A pleasant ethanol tingle. Notes of plum, dried apricot, hazelnut, and vanilla.
