A burning sensation on the nose on the scent, which belies an incredibly smooth and gentle spirit. As a bourbon enthusiast, I can only assume that the distinct flavors I'm experiencing are due to the rye. It's definitely a sweet spirit. Above average, sweet, and gentle.
A really enjoyable Rye! Liked the branding and the cause. Quite sweet with just the right amount of spice. Fantastic in cocktails.
