About this bottle

The original Rebel Yell wheated bourbon recipe originated in the 1840s, created at Stitzel-Weller in Kentucky. Currently owned by Luxco, this American Whiskey combines that bourbon with their Rebel Yell Rye, sourced from both Kentucky and Indiana. It is bottled at 90 proof.

Brayden Bradley 2.0

I truly wished to appreciate this. I figured the rye alongside the wheat would be something unusual. Ultimately, the only things I detected were the rye's spice and the alcohol. It just did not work for me. Considering it costs $25, I can identify at least ten other whiskies I would rather purchase. It was not awful, but it just did not work for me.

Shelton Kang 3.0

It's thin and lacks flavor/complexity. It's sweet with a bit of spice (I think?). It's not bad at all for the price. Better and cheaper than Jack or Jim.

Maximus Trotter 2.3

A great spicy addition to the standard Rebel we all enjoy, like a bayonet thrust with a hint of napalm at the end. 6/22/17.

Cassidy Ames 2.5

Very sweet and quite spicy. It's excellent for sipping straight or in a mixed drink. Lacks depth, but it's an okay whiskey.

Bruno Ziegler 4.0

This was the limited production batch.

Paulette Savage 3.0

Purchased for under $23.00 - a great buy.
