A thanks to a friend. Tasted straight. Smells fruity with hints of vanilla and cherry cola, plus citrus zest, sugary apple, cherries, pears, tart candy sticks, and gummy fish. The mouthfeel is comforting and warm, tasting of pears, deep cherries, a swirl of caramel, and brown sugar.
Nose: charcoal, pear, black pepper, oak, vanilla, crème brûlée, coffee. Palate: burnt caramel, oak, coffee, charcoal, apple. There's some heat on the finish.
