Rattlesnake Rosie's Apple Pie Corn Whiskey

A complex American Whiskey from Iron Smoke Distillery in Fairport, New York. It's made following Rattlesnake Rosie’s “Forbidden Apple Pie” whiskey recipe, combining Iron Smoke’s corn whiskey, apple cider from upstate New York, cinnamon, vanilla & brown sugar. It begins aromatically with notes of overripe tree fruit, wood & spices; its intense and thick body adds notes of cider, caramel apple & pie crust; leading to a rich & complex medium-length finish with notes of oak, cinnamon, vanilla & brown sugar. If you've ever baked an apple pie, watched it bubble over in the oven, and then thought, "Wow! I could really go for licking the oven floor after that cools down!", then this spirit is for you. It's murky, thick, and tastes like scraping the bottom of a recently cooled oven while someone showers you with cinnamon. Enjoy!

Easily drinkable and smooth, it evokes memories of childhood afternoons spent in a grandparent's kitchen. Subtle notes of cinnamon and possibly nutmeg emerge through a pleasant, buttery mouthfeel, reminiscent of a pie cooling on the counter.

Notes of apple, cinnamon, and a touch of chocolate. Not alcoholic in the slightest. Many thanks to a friend.
