About this bottle

Rhiannon represents the seventh installment in Penderyn's Icons of Wales Series. This whisky, which undergoes a sherry wood finish, derives its name from Rhiannon, a mythical enchantress and horse goddess renowned for her speed. In the Welsh language, "Rhiannon" translates to 'Great Queen' or 'Divine Queen'.

Margarita Mace 2.5

An intense Single Malt Whiskey from Penderyn Distillery in Wales, United Kingdom, finished in Grand Cru Sherry wood, made using a pot still created by Dr. David Faraday and bottled at 92 Proof. It starts with aromas of wood, grain, fruit & spice; a bold & velvety character adds notes of vanilla; oak tannins, red berries, blackcurrants, hazelnuts, pears, sultanas, marzipan, caramel, figs, delicate frangipane, chocolate ganache & a hint of coffee; leading to a long & dry conclusion with more oak tannins. Dirk Jacob 4.0

Rich, complex, sweet with some spice. Delivers a punch of deep fruit. A tasty whisky to savor.

Talia Sifuentes 3.5

Smells like burning rubber, but the taste is much more appealing than the smell.

Josh Cramer 3.5

Warm, sweet, with soft raspberry notes and a slightly hot finish.

Alexus Proctor 4.0

A personal favorite.
