About this bottle

Ranger Creek, a "brewstillery" in San Antonio, Texas, produces both beer and whiskey. Founded by business school friends who wanted to do both brewing and distilling, they created Belgian White Whiskey, a term they coined. This unaged whiskey is essentially distilled Belgian beer, and La Bestia Defavorable, meaning "The Unfavorable Beast," is a follow-up to their Belgian Dark Strong Ale. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

Crystal Howard 3.0

This whiskey offers a different experience. The first time I tried it, it had a very oily sensation initially and concluded with notes of pepper and cinnamon. Today, it lacks the oiliness but still delivers the same excellent cinnamon finish.
