An intense herbal apéritif/cordial from Ableforth, England. Botanicals like wormwood, anise, fennel, licorice, coriander seed, fresh lemon peel, and bitter orange peel are macerated in wheat spirit, then cold-distilled in a vacuum still for a crystal-clear result. It's unlikely to produce much, if any, louche effect at 91.2% ABV (182.4 proof)! An intense, throat-warming spirit with a hint of anise! March 2017
