About this bottle

Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2014 is a heavily-peated single malt from Bruichladdich, boasting 40ppm. It is produced solely from malted barley cultivated and harvested on Islay. The 2014 vintage utilized barley grown on eight farms located within 15 miles of the distillery. Matured for at least seven years, the whisky was primarily aged in first-fill bourbon barrels (84%), with the remainder split between second-fill virgin oak and second-fill Bordeaux wine casks. Bottled at 50% ABV, it is presented without chill-filtration. Introduced in early 2023, the US is scheduled to receive its allocation in March 2023. (SRP $84.99)
