Cherie Lerma 3.8

Aroma: Sweet, summer berries, raspberries, cranberries, caramel, with a hint of artificiality, and light baking spices. Taste: More of the artificial summer berry flavor, sweet, oak, vanilla, ginger, black pepper, and caramel. Finish: Medium-short in length. The finish is rather restrained, with more summer fruit, but also more oak/wood and vanilla, and caramel. The lingering taste is sweet and has a creamier fruitiness. I am uncertain why the SMWS decided to omit a distillery code for this expression; it's not a major issue but represents an unusual choice for the society. This is a sweet and fruity dram. It does not present as 50% ABV. The mouthfeel is great and full-bodied, with abundant berry sweetness and a significant amount of oak and vanilla.
