Nose: Christmas spices (nutmeg, cloves, cumin, aged caramel, cinnamon, cedar wood), molasses (think bbq baked beans), apple pie, cola/slight nuttiness, hint of spearmint, dried fruits (raisins/sultanas, dates, prunes), hint of savoury/rubbery smoke, hint of bittersweet oak, sweet wood spice, candied fruit (pineapple & mango), fresh fruit (red ripe plums, banana), stewed mixed apples, salty peanut butter/sea brine, little bit of wine/sherry notes, hint of vanilla Taste: Sweet cinnamon spice, caramel, sweet wood spice, slight nuttiness, some hints of rich wine, hint of toffee and medium roast coffee, hint of candied lemon peel/orange peel, hint of sweet dark chocolate, slight brine, perfumed floral wood sweetness, sweet green paprika Finish: Bananas and pineapple, sultana raisins, fresh oak sweetness, molasses, light hints of cloves and nutmeg, candied orange peel and lemon peel, light hint of medium dark milk chocolate, papaya, hearty savory oak

I'm new to rum, but I find this one quite pleasant as a first impression. It's easy to drink, with a fruity opening and a cinnamon/woody finish. Nothing complex, but worth the price. If you're a whisky drinker, this is comparable to Teachers in quality, meaning it's among the best cheap rums. Not complex, but nice to drink. This is my second rum experience, after Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, which was not a good choice. However, this one is definitely nice, and I'll be purchasing other bottles from this brand.

The nose on this one is rich with vanilla, honey, apricot, mango, and pear. The mouthfeel is also lovely, with peppery notes alongside the vanilla. Tropical flavors erupt, filling the mouth with a blend of Bartlett pear and apricot. However, the flavors are fleeting due to the product's low proof. Nose: Lots of aromas which makes it hard for me to separate them. One general aroma reminds me of Christmas (saffron, nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon) Taste: Nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon Finish: A bit light and dry This is a rum that will be very interesting to revisit after having more experience discerning flavors

Mellow aromas of butterscotch, lemon curd, lime peel, vanilla, and nutmeg. Light and rounded in the mouth. Taste is more vibrant, with fresh coconut; more lime peel, butterscotch, nutmeg, and vanilla; and a hint of cut grass on the finish – which is medium-length and very smooth. 3.25/5.00 – Quite Good (neat)

Aroma: succulent plums, nectarines, dark chocolate, oranges Taste: oaky, smoothed by added sugar, syrupy, low alcohol content suggests dilution Conclusion: brief It's unfortunate that added sugar has suppressed the characteristics of age, and then dilution further diminished the flavor.
