I can almost imagine pirates drinking this rum; it's bold and unrefined. The alcohol content is surprisingly low, it seems stronger.

Four Caribbean rums, originating from Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad, and an undisclosed island, are blended to create this rum. It matures for 3 to 5 years in former bourbon barrels off the coast of Honduras. The spirit's name is fitting, as Roatán Island, its place of production, was a pirate stronghold during the 18th century.
