This Cachaça's history started in the 1950s with a man named Agenário Dias de Almeida. At that time, a European medicine promised to change the medical world. The local brew quickly became a hit in the area, known for being the best and most full-bodied. Because the drink was linked to being a cure-all, locals nicknamed it Penicillin. Later, to register the brand, the name's spelling was altered. Thus, Cachaça Pinissilina was born from the people's name. Made from selected sugarcane juice and crafted for nearly sixty years in a copper still using Minas Gerais traditions, Cachaça Pinissilina is a delicacy that becomes a passion once tasted. For years, Cachaça has been associated with Brazilian customs, folklore, and popular medicine, often exciting the senses. This fermented sugarcane juice drink, made naturally without additives, has various meanings. Like ancient Greek pleasure, its consumption was initially limited, but as production improved, it became enjoyed by the elite. Pinissilina Cachaça is aged in barrels like oak, Bálsamo, and yellow ipe, giving it a distinct flavor and scent. Although distillation is common, Pinissilina Cachaça upholds artisanal craftsmanship since 1952, defining its character. There's always a solution for every problem. Pinissilina Cachaça.
