PennyPacker Bourbon, first launched in the 1970s as an export-only product featuring American symbolism like the flag and Abraham Lincoln, was composed of 70% corn, with the remainder being rye and barley. It held the position of Europe's top-selling bourbon throughout much of the 1970s and 1980s, becoming available in the United States in May 2013.

This is a fantastic young bourbon, fresh and vibrant. Flavors of vanilla, apple, and banana are noticeable. It's not ideal for sipping in cold weather or at night. Best enjoyed on the rocks during the summer with sunshine. Also great for cocktails.
One can hardly expect pure enjoyment for 11 Euros, though it doesn't smell bad. I even find it slightly better than, for example, Jim Beam when mixing with Cola. Conclusion.....pleasantly surprised.
This product is made in the USA, sent to Germany, bottled, and then shipped back to the U.S. It's intended solely for mixing; avoid drinking it straight as it is harsh.
A fantastic alternative to the usual Jim Beam! Less viscous and nutty, perhaps a bit more fruity, certainly younger, but with that familiar corn sweetness.
This spirit delivers a strong impact! A quality Bourbon suitable for both sipping and mixing. It's easy-drinking with a distinctive sour mash character.
Notes of caramel, coconut, and vanilla. Smooth and enjoyable on the palate. It's nothing extraordinary, but good for its cost.
