About this bottle
This is the third annual release in Fortaleza's Winter Blend series, which focuses on reposado cask finishes. Fortaleza's 100% Blue Weber agave tequila, crushed using a tahona, is double-distilled in a small copper pot still. It matures for 6 months in American oak and an additional 10 months in 200L French oak barrels previously holding Marsala wine. Bottled at cask strength 92.6 proof, 10,500 bottles were released in November 2021.
