This Cuban-style rum is created using the same five column-distilled rums found in the brand's primary Blonde Rum, sourced from the Caribbean, the US, and Central America. The proportions of these rums, aged between 2 and 7 years, are varied. The rums are blended using a solera method in ex-bourbon and sherry barrels. Furthermore, this edition is bottled at 92 proof, contrasting with the standard Blonde Rum's 84 proof. Papa's Pilar Platinum Blonde Limited Edition has had 2000 cases available since August 2018.
