Consumed on November 25th, 2018, at the Alibi Room in Vancouver. A 1 oz pour served in a Glencairn glass. Very enjoyable, but not highly complex when compared to scotch whisky. The primary aroma and flavor are vanilla and caramel. There are also some wood barrel notes, but it's not a sophisticated whiskey by any means.

About this bottle
P&M Pure Malt is a creation from Corsica, France, resulting from the collaboration between Pietra Brewery and Domaine Mavela. Its barley malts are fermented with yeast, distilled in Holstein stills, and blended with mountain spring water. The spirit then matures for three years in 100-year-old oak casks from the Tronçais forests before being bottled at 42% ABV.
