This particular whiskey from Oyo is a white rye, produced and aged in small quantities in the heart of the Ohio River Valley. It's made from 100% Ohio-grown rye and has a proof of 110. The whiskey's aroma is sweet, with scents of grains, resembling sweet corn syrup, grains, and honey. A burning alcohol note is detected at the end of the aroma. The taste is of sweet corn and spicy rye. As expected from a white whiskey, the grain flavors are prominent. It has a pleasing, smooth texture that complements the spice exceptionally well. A very fine drink.
